Trophy Mule Deer The ever growing passion for hunting big mule deer grows within all hard core hunters from across the country. Drawing mule deer permits in any western states has become more difficult each season. Take a chance in the draw for one of our coveted mule deer permits. Archery deer in September and January, muzzleloader or rifle deer in October, and premium trophy permit hunts in December. Choose your season from any of our general season or premium mule deer hunts. With limited permits and few hunters, the chance of finding that trophy of a lifetime on the Navajo Nation is ever so real. Buck quality range from 25 to over 30 plus inches wide, and gross score from 175 to possibly over 200 inches gross B&C. Most trophy hunters choose to pass on 175 inch bucks on the first few days, holding out for that opportunity to harvest a true trophy buck the Navajo is known for. You can't hunt for big bucks if you don't take a chance on the draw.
